Welcome to Camp Crain Lake Cottage. These guidelines help keep the cottage comfortable, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. Please take a moment to review them before your stay.
- Care for the Cottage
Please do not move furniture unnecessarily.
Do not remove household items, appliances, decorations, or other property from the cottage.
Report any accidental damage as soon as possible. - Smoking
No smoking or vaping inside the cottage.
If smoking is permitted outside, cigarette butts must be properly disposed and use of ashtrays. - Pets
Pets are allowed prior approval. They must be Kenneled overnight.
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and any damage they cause. - Safety
Do not disable smoke or carbon-monoxide detectors.
Please notify the owner immediately of any safety issue, leak, damage, or maintenance problem. - Appliances & Utilities
Turn off lights, appliances, heating/AC, and cooking equipment when leaving.
No candles, open flames, or other fire hazards. - Respect for the property
Please use the cottage responsibly and leave it in the condition you found it.
Intentional or negligent damage should be reported. - Checkout procedure:
Remove personal belongings.
Wash dishes and clean up.
Make sure doors and windows are locked.
Return keys according to the owner’s instructions.
All linen is stripped from the bed and start the laundry.
Take garbage to the designated area before leaving.

Thank you for taking care of the cottage. Since this space is being shared with family and friends free of charge, we simply ask everyone to respect the property, keep it clean, and be considerate of the neighbors and the next person staying.
